Dear P.S. 133Q Families:
Our first PTA meeting was on Tuesday, September 29th and we had a great turnout. We are hoping that the attendance continues to increase at our monthly meetings. P.S 133Q provides a wonderful academic environment for our children, but the school cannot do this alone. With the support of parents, we have been able to contribute to many school activities and events for our children that would otherwise have been impossible. Your contributions, through attending meetings, volunteering your time, fundraising, and membership donations ensures that our children receive the quality of education they deserve.
The suggested PTA membership dues is $25. However, as we mentioned at our meeting, we are aware there are families in our community that have been financially impacted by Covid. Please know that any amount donated is appreciated and if you are unable to give at this time, we completely understand. We have set up a PayPal account that is directly linked to the PTA bank account using the email 26Q133pa@schools.nyc.gov. If you are able to pay your membership dues remember to include your child(ren)’s name(s), class(es), and parent’s name. If you do not have PayPal, but still wish to pay the membership dues please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year, like last year, we are adding a bit of an incentive to our membership dues drive. The class with the highest percentage of parent donations* and the class with the top dollar total by October 30thwill receive a REWARD. If you have more than one child in the school EACH child will get credit for the donation to be counted towards their class.
We welcome your input and appreciate your support. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns please feel free to contact us. Also, if you are not receiving our email notifications please provide your name, email, and cell phone (optional). The PTA Executive Board welcomes you back and we hope you have a fun and successful 2020 – 2021 school year.

*Highest Percentage determined by number of students whose parents participated divided by the number of students in the class (i.e. if class has 30 students and all 30 provide donation for dues then it is 100% class participation)
